How do I claim territory?

Connect your Strava account and complete a run that forms a closed loop — start and end within 150 metres of each other. The area inside the loop is automatically claimed as your territory within seconds of finishing.

My run didn't claim any territory. Why?

Three things are required: your route must form a closed loop (start and end near each other), the enclosed area must be at least 10,000 m² (~100m × 100m), and your Strava account must be connected before the run was recorded.

Someone took my territory. What happened?

Another runner completed a loop that overlapped your territory and captured it. That's the game — head back out and reclaim it.
